Mastering SharePoint Live Online: SharePoint Designer Workflow
Robert Eisenberg has literally written the book on SharePoint Workflow and now you can learn from him in this Live Online Training Class.
The course describes the standard MOSS workflow model and demonstrates how to use them in “real world” scenarios. In addition, you will be provided with an in-depth understanding of workflow delegation, task reassignment and other common needs required in human-centric workflows. We then delve into creating SharePoint Designer workflows for automating operational business processes that require more complex logic then that found with out-of-box workflow; topics such as dynamic field lookup, process escalation, custom actions, modifying generated forms and security permissions are all covered.
Here are the skills you will learn:
- When and how to use the powerful out-of-the-box workflows
- How to use association and initiation forms
- How to integrate workflows with Office and especially Outlook
- How to create and publish an InfoPath form to a SharePoint form library
- How to make InfoPath form fields available to a SharePoint form library
- How to create a conditional workflow that evaluates and updates SharePoint form library data
- How to create an approval workflow that waits for manager approval
- How to create a secondary workflow that monitors tasks assignments and sends notifications as needed
- How and when to use custom actions on SharePoint Designer workflows provided by IT or third parties
- How and when to modify the generated workflow forms
- How to manually associate a workflow with a SharePoint Designer workflow
